We deliver various IT solutions and services to banks and savings institutions across Denmark and other Nordic countries. We provide a modern, cloud-based core banking platform serving more than 50 Nordic banks with over 2 million end customers. Our solutions encompass daily banking operations, mobile and internet banking, payments, investment management, risk management, compliance, and open banking.

Responsibilities and technologies

As a Senior Architect at Netcompany Banking Services, you will play a key role in designing end-to-end IT solutions that deliver real business value. You will work closely with customers, product owners, project managers, and development teams to ensure that we do not merely build systems but create future-proof platforms capable of evolving in a constantly changing environment.

You will be involved in both large and small commercial and non-commercial projects, serving as a trusted technical advisor for our development teams.

Your responsibilites will typically include:

• Designing and communicating solution architectures that balance business requirements, technological opportunities, security, and performance.
• Acting as a technical advisor to development teams, defining architectural principles and making key technology decisions.
• Serving as a trusted technology and architecture advisor to customers, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Designing and ensuring robust integrations between systems in complex IT landscapes, both internally and with external partners.
• Ensuring that implemented solutions adhere to architectural principles and non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

About you

To succeed in this role, you have:

• At least 7+ years of experience in the IT industry, including several years in roles such as Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar. Experience within the financial sector or card payments domain is an advantage.
• Deep technical expertise in modern software development, preferably with experience in the .NET stack, C#, Java, and API design.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A pragmatic mindset, with the ability to design solutions that are both elegant and feasible within project constraints.
• A naturally curious mindset and a continuous drive to stay updated on new technologies and methodologies.
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken) is a must.
