Our client is a nationally recognized architecture practice that approaches the discipline as a cultural and artistic pursuit. Their portfolio spans libraries, higher education facilities, residential and recreational developments, corporate offices, museums, and visitor centers, with a strong track record of award-winning design work across the country.

Why is this role open:

The firm is growing its project leadership bench and is looking for a seasoned Project Architect to partner directly with the principals on a varied portfolio of academic, cultural, and commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and documentation on multiple concurrent projects, from early concept through construction
• Contribute actively to the firm's design dialogue and creative culture
• Manage consultant coordination, project schedules, and technical detailing
• Oversee construction administration across project phases
• Mentor junior staff and support their professional growth
• Collaborate closely with clients and principals throughout the design process

Must-haves:

• Professional degree in Architecture
• Active architectural licensure
• 8+ years of professional experience across all project phases
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong design sensibility paired with technical depth
• Experience working alongside consultant teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

• 3D modeling and rendering experience in Rhino, V-Ray, or Enscape
• LEED accreditation or project experience
• Background working on academic, cultural, or civic project types

Work style: Fully on-site
Compensation: $100,000 to $130,000 base salary, plus benefits
