Are you a dynamic Senior Architect with at least 5 years experience with a innovative portfolio to match? Are you looking to gain experience across a range of UK and global projects? Benoy’s Aviation Team is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Architect to join them.

What we’re looking for:

· You are a talented designer, with a portfolio that showcases great creativity and innovative thinking.

· You have experience of successfully delivering aviation projects through all work stages.

· You have experience managing small teams.

· With strong organisational and supervisory skills, you have a proven ability to manage projects and people to deliver great results.

· A strong communicator, you can effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.

· You are proficient in computer applications commonly used within your discipline – Revit and sketch up are preferred.

· You are degree qualified in related design field or hold equivalent certification.

Key Responsibilities

· Delivers high quality design and/or technical work, engaging others with their creative and innovative thinking.

Project Management

· Demonstrates a detailed understanding of the design process and project brief, coordinating the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development.

· Takes responsibility for quality control and supervision of project deliverables.

· Coordinates and integrates the work of external contractors, suppliers and professionals.

Team Management

· Role models Benoy’s values and contributes towards a collaborative environment in which innovation is encouraged and best practice shared.

· Ability to work effectively with others to develop and resolve project issues.

· Ability to make complex decisions, weighing up a range of factors and implications.

· Builds a network across the business and seeks leadership opportunities by directing and supporting junior team members.

Client Relationships

· Develops effective relationships with clients and consultants.

· Operate independently in daily engagement with clients and stakeholders.

· Provide support to senior team members with key client presentations and represent Benoy in meetings as required.

Budget Control

· Takes responsibility for aspects of the project budget and liaises with stakeholders to ensure delivery.

· Seeks to develop a working understanding of cost control, fee charging and project finance, and considers how project fees are maximised without threat to client relationship and repeat work.
