We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead the architecture, design, and technical direction of complex, scalable, and high-performance software solutions. The ideal candidate will have 13–20 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with strong expertise in Solution Architecture and REST API Design.

You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, business stakeholders, and technology leaders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. The role requires strong architectural thinking, hands-on technical understanding, and the ability to guide teams through the complete software development lifecycle.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong expertise in Solution Architecture and enterprise application design.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and API-driven architectures.
• 13–20 years of experience in software development, architecture, or technology leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of scalable, secure, highly available, and distributed systems.
• Experience defining architecture standards, design principles, technology choices, and technical roadmaps.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Experience working with microservices, cloud-native applications, and distributed architectures.
• Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and make architecture decisions aligned with business objectives.
• Strong understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, versioning, error handling, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the solution architecture for complex business applications and technology platforms.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical architectures.
• Design robust REST APIs, including API contracts, resource models, authentication mechanisms, versioning, and integration patterns.
• Create high-level and low-level architecture designs, technical specifications, and solution blueprints.
• Establish architectural standards and ensure solutions follow security, scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability requirements.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to understand requirements and develop effective technology solutions.
• Evaluate existing systems and identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, and architectural improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers, developers, and technical leads.
• Review technical designs, code approaches, integration strategies, and architecture decisions to ensure alignment with established standards.
• Assess new technologies, frameworks, platforms, and tools and recommend appropriate solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, scalability concerns, and potential bottlenecks early in the development lifecycle.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of architectural designs.
• Support production reliability initiatives and help resolve complex technical and architectural challenges.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and long-term platform modernization strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 13–20 years of relevant experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise technology.
• Proven experience architecting large-scale applications and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on understanding of REST API design and integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms, databases, messaging systems, microservices, and modern application architectures is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication abilities.
