With our team of AI architects, AI engineers, and AI researchers, we shape future machine learning-based automated driving systems and turn research concepts into product innovations.

What awaits you?

  • You develop advanced machine learning-based architectures for automated driving functions and shape the way in which we scale our ML development.
  • Furthermore, you conduct independent research beyond the state-of-the-art, identify technology gaps and actively contribute to closing them through technical concept and prototype implementations, making use of multilateral industrial and academic partnerships.
  • You meet energetic start-ups, have stimulating discussions with leading university researchers, or draft research plans for the relevant product and feature roadmap.

What should you bring along?

  • University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, Physics, or comparable qualifications.
  • At least five years of professional experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining AI/ML models in a business or industrial setting.
  • Proven success in bringing models from research or prototype stage into productive, value-generating operations. Experienced in working within agile, cross-functional teams with a strong sense of ownership and delivery focus.
  • Strong expertise in any or all of the following fields: prediction and perception, planning, end-to-end learning, vision-language-action models, world models for driving, reinforcement learning, fine-tuning of vision-language-models, machine learning safety concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Python-based ML stacks and production environments (training, inference, monitoring).
  • Thorough understanding of automated driving functions and their typical software stack.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills. Knowledge of German, both written and spoken, is an advantage.
