The Senior Windchill Application Specialist is responsible for maintaining optimal performance across Windchill and its integrations, as well as enhancing the overall efficiency of solutions.
You will be the main point of contact for technical expertise and support of large-scale solutions. You will triage issues to internal support, vendors, or partners to ensure the solutions are operating effectively.

This position requires full-time on-site presence.
Lead technical discussions related to configuration, customization, and administration of Windchill PLM solutions, including MPMLink, PartsLink, and ProjectLink
Design, implement, and support Windchill integrations using REST services, ensuring reliable data exchange across enterprise systems
Lead workflow development and enhancements, including lifecycle definitions, change management workflows, and business rule enforcement
Develop and maintain Java-based customizations and extensions to support business-specific requirements
Provide technical leadership during go-live activities and post go-live support, ensuring system stability and business continuity
Lead Windchill upgrades, patching, and environment management (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod), recommending improvements for performance, availability, and scalability
Contribute to the architecture and integration design of Windchill within the enterprise landscape
Partner with stakeholders to optimize engineering and manufacturing processes, including alternate BOMs and EBOM/MBOM alignment
Ensure strong configuration management practices are followed across environments, including version control, promotion processes, auditability, and release governance
Govern and review system changes through formal change management processes, ensuring traceability and minimizing operational risk
Proactively identify system risks, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity issues, and lead remediation efforts
Ensure monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility across Windchill services and infrastructure
Improve deployment reliability through structured release management, validation, and regression testing
Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and system reliability
Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior team members
Participate in incident response and on-call support for 24x7 operations
Education: University degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience in a related field
5–10 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, with a strong focus on PTC Windchill PLM
Strong hands-on experience with:
Windchill PDMLink administration
MPMLink
PartsLink
ProjectLink
Alternate BOMs and EBOM/MBOM transformation
Proven experience with:
Windchill integrations using REST APIs / REST services
Workflow development and customization
Java-based customizations within Windchill
Strong expertise in configuration management, including:
Environment promotion strategies (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod)
Version control and release governance
Change traceability and audit compliance
Experience with Windchill integrations (ERP and enterprise systems)
Strong experience with Oracle or SQL databases, including query development and performance troubleshooting
Solid understanding of enterprise systems architecture (application servers, networking, security)
Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, shell, or similar tools)
Strong knowledge of service management practices (incident, problem, change management)
Data and process-driven mindset with a focus on system reliability and operational excellence
Strong communication skills, able to bridge technical and business stakeholders
Customer-focused with strong attention to detail
Bonus:
Experience with Windchill performance tuning and system optimization
Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and operational best practices
Experience with Creo View and Creo View MCAD
Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern deployment patterns
Experience working in engineering and manufacturing environments with complex BOM structures and configuration control requirements
