Key Responsibilities
About the Team
ODS-P (Operational Data Store – Pricing) is one of Swiss Re's most strategically significant platforms, serving a dual purpose at the core of the company's pricing and reporting infrastructure. It acts as both the IFRS+ costing calculation engine and the central pricing data repository — calculating, validating, storing, and processing critical pricing data across L&H (Life & Health Reinsurance), P&C Re (Property & Casualty Reinsurance), and CorSo (Corporate Solutions) business lines.
The platform calculates and stores pricings for the entire Swiss Re Group — spanning P&C and L&H contracts for Reinsurance, CorSo, and Life & Health — making it a truly company-wide system with global reach and deep business impact. Built to the highest standards of security, compliance, and reliability, ODS-P is a cloud-native, enterprise-grade platform that integrates with multiple enterprise systems and underpins Swiss Re's ability to price, calculate, and report at scale. Joining this team means working on a platform that sits at the very heart of Swiss Re's business — where engineering excellence directly enables global financial operations.
About You
You are a technically strong, self-driven engineer with a genuine passion for clean code, thoughtful system design, and continuous improvement. You bring a collaborative spirit and a strong sense of ownership — comfortable navigating complexity, leading technical conversations, and delivering results in a fast-paced agile environment. You communicate clearly, solve problems analytically, and find real satisfaction in helping those around you grow and succeed.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
