About this Position

• This position is Lead Application Engineer to develop new applications and sync up with Global Account Team.
  
• Deep engagement into consumer device applications, provide professional technical support, evaluate the technical solutions and project feasibilities.
  
• Set up the relevant new test or platform capability, high efficiency communication with different functional teams.
  
• This position can support the technical innovation, secure and driving the customer sustainability with Henkel solid knowledge know-how.
  

What you´ll do

• Investigate new projects and applications, work with KAM to dig out customer requirement and value proposition information, evaluate project feasibility with solid technology knowledge, to transfer it into real projects.
  
• Cooperate with technical champion to set up the necessary test capability for new project evaluation.
  
• Works effectively with sales, marketing, PD, Innovation, members of TCS field team or project team members. Contributes to project with strong project management skills.
  
• Responsible for product recommendations, new product demonstrations and troubleshooting and performs technical visits (meetings, audits, demonstrations, etc.) to customer.
  
• Responsible for products application / technical training for field sales and customers.

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor or Master, Major in material science or polymer chemistry with 5-8 years working experience.
  
• Excellent written English and workable spoken English.
  
• Communication skills with Customers and internal discussion.
  
• Experience in material application development is preferred.
  
• Professional technology on different chemical-based adhesives such as Silicone, PUR, Epoxy, Acrylic, MS etc.
  
• Owning work experience in consumer electronics FATP is preferred.
• Analytical and logical thinking.
  
• Familiar with office software, data analysis tools.
  
• Good at application methods/development, technical writing/report.
