The Digital Product Delivery – Product Development Team is currently seeking a seasoned Senior Application Developer – Oracle Fusion (EPM) to join our fast-paced, high-performing team. Reporting to the Manager, Product Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and enhancing Oracle Fusion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions by optimizing system functionality and related financial business processes, including planning, consolidation, and reporting. The Senior Application Developer will respond to production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to ensure system stability and performance. The role will interface with key stakeholders across Finance and IT and apply technical expertise across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud modules (such as EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS), along with integration and automation capabilities using tools and platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), data management solutions (FDMEE/ODI), Oracle HDL (HCM Data Loader), and FBDI (File Based Data Import), APIs, and scripting frameworks.
What You Will Do:
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain Oracle EPM applications and solutions that meet AGCO business and financial reporting requirements (e.g., Planning, FCCS, ARCS).
• Manage code deployments, including version control, build packaging, and promotion across environments in collaboration with infrastructure and release management teams.
• Provide technical consultation, support, and guidance to developers and collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver effective EPM solutions.
• Provide technical input, solution assessments, and realistic effort estimates to support project planning, risk management, scheduling, and change control.
• Conduct peer code reviews (e.g., business rules, calculations, integrations) and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Support infrastructure teams in troubleshooting EPM application deployments, configurations, integrations, and environment issues.
• Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs, data loads, and integrations to ensure successful execution of critical financial processes and reporting cycles.
• Support production incidents, including performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes for EPM-related issues.
• Proactively identify system risks, data inconsistencies, and performance issues; recommend and implement mitigation strategies or escalate as required.
• Participate in project and release meetings, including post-implementation reviews, and effectively communicate progress, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Broaden knowledge across Oracle Fusion modules and related technologies, contributing to their continuous maintenance and enhancement.
You Have:
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or an IT related technical discipline, or equivalent experience, with a professional certification on any Oracle Technology is an asset.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience as an Oracle Fusion Developer, with focus on EPM and ERP modules.
• Experience in multiple end-to-end implementations/support projects of Oracle with a minimum 4 years of experience participating on software development projects in a senior capacity.
• Proficient Knowledge of Oracle Cloud like (GL/CoA, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expense, Imaging/Web center, Control/Reporting); Oracle BI Publisher experience highly desirable.
• Understanding of integration using webservices / REST API is a must.
• Hands-on experience in Fusion cloud Financials modules, Fusion integration technologies like reporting technologies i.e., BI Publisher, FBDI, OTBI, FRCS and Smartviews as well as with ADF Desktop Integration (ADFDI) in Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Strong Relational Database and P/SQL skills, experience with Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Adhere to standard security coding practices to ensure application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP Financials and HCM Module
• Oracle EPM Cloud certifications
