Job Description

Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.



Our client currently has a vacancy for a Senior Application Developer (.NET / Java / Angular) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
  • At least 10 years of hands on experience on enterprise applications solutions development or enterprise application integration solutions with particular focus on the development platform APIs/SDKs;
  • At least 5 years of experience in bespoke software development;
  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud development architecture and build/release automation pipelines;
  • At least 5 years of experience in C# (.NET) development;
  • At least 5 years of experience in Java programming;
  • At least 5 years of experience with HTML for web application front-end development.
  • At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript for interactive and dynamic web solutions.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing modern front-end applications using Angular 2+, preferably with BreezeJS;
  • At least 5 years of experience working within Scrum or Agile software development environments;
  • At least 5 years of experience using Git for version control and collaborative development;
  • At least 4 years of experience using UML for software modeling and system design;
  • At least 4 years of experience applying the Rational Unified Process (RUP) or equivalent design methodologies;
  • At least 3 years of experience designing, developing, and querying databases using SQL Server or Azure SQL;
  • At least 3 years of experience deploying and maintaining .NET web applications on IIS;
  • At least 2 years of experience working with XML, XSLT, DTD, XML Schema (XSD), SOAP, and REST web service technologies;
  • At least 2 years of experience using Entity Framework for object-relational mapping and data access;
  • At least 2 years of experience using Microsoft TFS or Azure DevOps for project tracking, build automation, and source code management;
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, including cloud services deployment and configuration;
  • Excellent command of the English language and good knowledge of French.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on enterprise solution architectures, including best practices for custom component development, cloud-based components, and build/deployment processes;
  • Analyze, design, and develop high-quality solution components aligned with business and technical requirements;
  • Contribute to the analysis and implementation of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) across diverse information systems;
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support development and deployment activities;
  • Participate in technical working groups, project meetings, and discussions with stakeholders and end-users to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
