Senior Application Analyst, Epic Resolute Professional Billing-(26004239)

Provide technical leadership, direction, and technical support for the development, configuration, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Epic System software related to Epic Resolute Professional Billing. This position includes working with Project Management groups, key stakeholders, vendors, contactors, and end users regularly.

This position is eligible for remote work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate withapplication owners to identify critical functionalrequirementsforneworrevisedapplications Obtain and maintain required certification(s)

  • Recommend technicaldesignandprocedures fornewor revised applications.

  • Configureandcustomizeapplications

  • Maywriteprogramcodeor scripts

  • Reviewtheapplicationbuildforefficiency, completeness andcorrectness.

  • Performunitandintegratedtesting,

  • Developandmaintaintestingscriptsforexecutionduring special updates and system upgrade cycles.

  • Reviewand analyzesystemproblemstoidentify solutions and/or make appropriate referrals.

  • Carryapagerandprovideafter-hours supportas required and requested.

  • Developandmaintaindetailed projectplansassociated with system development, deployment, and ongoing support.

  • Developandmaintaindocumentationtoensurerecovery capability,aswellassatisfactoryandstableperformance oftheplatform(s)andallapplicationsandprocesses.

  • Documentsystemprocedureandguidelinesfor users,as well as programs and program modifications.

  • Maytrainusersone-on-oneor insmallgroupsessions

  • Developandmaintaindowntimeworkflowsand procedures

  • Providesdirection,assignments,feedback,coaching, andcounseling tojunior stafftoassure outcomes are achieved

  • Salary: $70,051 to commensurate – Paygrade 5B

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor'sinComputer Scienceor MISoranequivalent combination ofeducation and related application development/support experience

  • Certification must be obtained within 30 days after the corresponding EPIC class ends. In cases where an employee cannot meet this timeframe, they should work with their supervisor to establish an approved plan for completion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience withvariety of specific toolsandtoolkitsfordevelopmentand support of applications

  • Knowledge of andextensive experience withactivities, toolsand techniques for converting business requirements andlogicalmodels intoatechnicalapplication design

  • Knowledgeofandextensiveexperiencedefining,implementingchangesto,andsupportingaproductionapplication.

  • Knowledge of and extensive experience with activities, tasks,practices and deliverables associated withwriting andmodifyingprogramsthatcompriseanapplicationsystem.

  • Knowledgeandabilitytouseandadministertheorganization'stechnologypractices,standardsandprocedures.

  • Experienceinthedevelopmentand/or supportof applications usedbynon-technical customers to support and enhance business processes, typically 5-7 years for Senior Developers in leadership rolesincluding experience withprogramming tools anda comprehensive understanding of database technologies (e.g.,Cache,SOL Server)

  • Experienceworkingwithend-userstodefinesystemrequirementsandunderstand

    businessneeds

  • Ability tocommunicate effectivelyboth verbally andinwriting withtechnicalandnon-technical staff.

  • Wearingapagerandprovidingsome24x7on-callsupport

  • Professional job-related experience fostering or promoting a welcoming and respectful work/academic environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiaritywithhealthcarerevenue cyclepractices

  • Experiencewithhospital/physicianbillingsystems orphysician officemanagement systems

  • EpicResolute Professional Billing or related certificationis highlydesirable
