Opportunity to develop and enhance enterprise applications supporting investment banking operations. Work across application development, business process automation, database engineering, and API integrations. Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. How You Will Make An Impact Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications using Appian, business process management technologies, and modern web development frameworks. Build intuitive user interfaces, automate business workflows, and develop backend functionality that supports critical business operations. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver effective, maintainable application solutions. Develop and optimize SQL queries, database interactions, and data access components to improve application performance. Design and implement RESTful APIs to connect applications with internal and external systems. Develop and maintain workflow models, application integrations, and reusable components. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to investigate defects, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective solutions. Maintain technical documentation covering application functionality, system architecture, and development processes. Support application enhancements, debugging, upgrades, and ongoing production stability. Apply version control, CI/CD practices, and secure development standards throughout the software development lifecycle. Manage competing development priorities while maintaining quality and delivery commitments. Requirements Are You An Experienced Appian or Full Stack Developer Ready to Make an Impact? 5–7 years of professional experience in Appian application development, business process management, or full stack software development. Strong front-end development experience using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks. Hands-on experience developing applications that interact with SQL Server or other relational databases. Strong SQL programming skills, including complex queries, query optimization, and database performance improvements. Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Git or comparable source control technologies. Understanding of DevOps methodologies, automated deployments, and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to work across user interfaces, backend application logic, databases, and integrations. Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet competing deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with Appian SAIL, Records, Process Modeling, Integrations, and Web APIs. Experience administering or configuring Appian within self-managed environments. Exposure to Python and Flask for backend application development. Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized application environments. Professional experience supporting investment banking or financial services technology. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
