Senior Android Software Engineer 

The Senior Android Software Engineer will play a key role in shaping and delivering the roadmap for our Android application. The role covers end-to-end feature development, ongoing maintenance, technical improvements, and architectural evolution, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and delivering a high-quality user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications in a production environment.
• Take ownership of technical solutions, from initial design through implementation, testing, and release.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the continuous improvement of the Android codebase.
• Develop new features and enhance existing functionality in line with the Mobile App roadmap.
• Collaborate with iOS engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent experience across platforms.
• Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for improving code quality and maintainability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern software engineering practices.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices.
• Support CI/CD processes and modern development workflows.
• Help ensure the successful release and ongoing maintenance of the application on Google Play.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong professional experience developing and maintaining Android applications in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Kotlin; experience with Java is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including OOP, SOLID principles, clean code, and design patterns
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable Android architectures, such as MVVM and Clean Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Dagger 2/Hilt, and Android Jetpack libraries
• Strong experience with reactive and asynchronous programming using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow and/or RxJava
• Solid understanding of concurrency, threading, and Android performance optimization
• Experience integrating backend services through REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Strong experience writing automated tests, including unit, integration, and UI tests
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
• Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and code review practices
• Good understanding of Material Design principles and mobile UX best practices
• Experience publishing, monitoring, and maintaining Android applications on Google Play
• Ability to independently drive technical initiatives and make sound architectural and engineering decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, international environment.
