About the role

The Senior Analytics Specialist is a trusted expert in advanced data modelling, AI/ML development, and analytics enablement. In this role, you will use cutting edge techniques such as classification models, predictive analytics, and Databricks engineering to accelerate our Horizon 2 ambitions, centred on automation, enhanced analytics, and embedding AI across Finance and Corporate processes.

You will lead the design and deployment of resilient data models and pipelines, build and maintain advanced analytics solutions in Azure Databricks, and ensure all models are explainable, scalable, and fully aligned with governance standards. Beyond technical delivery, you will help uplift capability across Finance and Corporate by coaching staff, fostering innovation, and shaping a sustainable, future ready analytics ecosystem.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven skills in Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning, data analysis, discovery and preparation skills using SQL
  • Strong experience using the Databricks platform
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and MLOps
  • Hands-on experience in MLflow and Feature Store.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark, with advanced ability to analyse and model large datasets.
  • Experience in designing and deploying CI/CD pipelines for data and AI workloads.
    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and automate high-impact manual processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of data analytics and/or evaluation methods for business improvement
  • Advanced data visualisation and reporting capability using Power BI.

This is a 12-month fixed-term full-time opportunity with a hybrid work model rotating between WFH and one of our processing centres.
