TL;DR
Alva Labs is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer with strong SQL skills and experience building data pipelines and analytics models. In this role, you’ll design data models, build ELT pipelines in BigQuery, ensure data quality, and enable data that drives product and business decisions.

What Alva Labs is looking for

• Strong technical background in data architecture, ETL processes, and data modeling

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python

• Experience implementing data governance practices and monitoring data quality

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Collaborative mindset — you enjoy working cross-functionally with product, design, engineers, and researchers

• A track record of leading data-driven projects and initiatives

• Experience developing and executing data strategies aligned with business objectives

What you'll do

• Build scalable data models and optimize ELT pipelines to power dashboards and self-serve analytics

• Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders

• Continuously improve tools and processes for scalability, performance, and reliability
