As a Senior Analytics Developer at JLL, you'll play a pivotal role in our Business Intelligence team, designing and delivering innovative analytical solutions that drive business performance across compliance, productivity, cost optimization, and profitability. Working within a culture that embraces more innovative ways of working, you'll leverage tools like Tableau and Alteryx to transform complex data into actionable insights that shape strategic decisions. This role demands both technical excellence and collaborative spirit—you'll actively engage with internal and external BI communities to continuously evolve your skills while sharing knowledge across our global analytics network. Drive the continued development and optimization of our core Tableau environment, creating compelling data visualizations that tell meaningful business stories
Translate complex, ambiguous business requirements into effective analytical solutions through iterative design processes and regular stakeholder engagement
Provide specialist guidance to colleagues on advanced analytics topics including Tableau development, statistical analysis, data warehousing architecture, and emerging BI techniques
Actively participate in both internal JLL and external BI communities to ensure continuous learning, staying current with new analytical approaches and platform capabilities
Collaborate with data engineers and fellow analysts to review and refine new initiatives, providing constructive feedback that elevates the quality of our collective work
Lead proof-of-concept development for emerging analytical tools and methodologies, demonstrating ROI potential and establishing pathways for enterprise adoption
Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external customers, managing expectations transparently while delivering exceptional service that creates lasting partnerships
Document solutions thoroughly and embed best practices within the team's operating framework, ensuring knowledge transfer and solution sustainability across the organization
Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Econometrics, Operations Research, Statistics, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Business Intelligence, Business, or Data Analyst in a corporate environment
Demonstrated expertise in data visualization and analytical techniques, with strong proficiency in Tableau for dashboard and report development
Proven ability to work autonomously, defining business requirements and partnering with technical teams to deliver governed, scalable solutions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience working in complex, corporate environments with geographically dispersed stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and translate findings into compelling narratives that drive business action
Advanced proficiency with Alteryx for data preparation, blending, and workflow automation
Knowledge and hands-on experience with modern data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Amazon RDS, or similar cloud-based platforms
Working knowledge of analytical programming languages and toolkits including R, Python, SPSS, or SAS
Experience with agile project management methodologies and iterative development approaches
Demonstrated capability in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or machine learning techniques
Track record of leading proof-of-concept initiatives from conception through to production implementation and business adoption
