GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Analytics Developer will work with business unit customers to design and deliver Business Intelligence (BI) solutions that match and align business requirements with analytics environment and provide leadership to the Analytics Developer role. This role will advise business unit customers and the BI team on appropriate methods for presenting analytics results. The Senior Developer will configure analytic tools, develop the semantic layer, and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations. This role will establish common reporting standards and help align business requests to such standards. The Senior Developer will also provide expert data modeling and technical architecture design for the data warehouse and related analytic data sets. This role will work with and guide other team members on BI initiatives and optimum methods of analytic querying, reporting and delivery. This role will also design, build, and maintain data integration and ETL/ELT processes using current tools.

The Senior Analytics Developer is appointed by and reports to the Manager of Business Intelligence and will also indirectly lead other developers and assist in guiding the Business Intelligence team’s development initiatives. The position is responsible for working with members of the Information Technology department, as well as working with all levels within the organization.
