Do you enjoy turning complex data into meaningful insights that influence real business outcomes? We're looking for a Senior Analytics & Insights Specialist to join our team and play a key role in shaping how Westpac understands and manages its product portfolio and customer journeys. In this role, you'll design and build scalable data solutions that help unlock valuable insights across millions of customer interactions.

You'll work with large and complex datasets to create trusted data assets that support strategic decision-making, portfolio performance, pricing, and customer outcomes. Partnering with stakeholders across the business, you'll translate business challenges into innovative data solutions, delivering insights that help shape the future of banking for our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with modern analytical techniques, and seeing their work drive meaningful business impact.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

  • 5+ years’ experience using SAS and SQL to deliver business insights
  • Experience working with complex data and delivering high‑quality reporting to support decision‑making in a large, complex organisation
  • Strong ability to build and manage effective relationships with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams
  • Experience developing insights and reporting
  • Proven experience translating business requirements into data solutions, from analysis through to delivery and implementation
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry, including an understanding of key banking metrics and performance measures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to a range of audiences
