Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Analyze inventory utilization and monetization trends across the Hearst portfolio to surface actionable insights
  • Build and maintain reporting frameworks that support pricing, yield optimization, and revenue strategy
  • Partner with Sales and Client Success teams to inform media planning, packaging, and pre-sale decision-making
  • Monitor campaign delivery and ad product performance, proactively identifying risks and optimization opportunities
  • Diagnose performance issues and recommend data-driven solutions for both active and future campaigns
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Campaign Management, Pricing, and Finance teams to align on revenue goals and operational insights
  • Develop expertise in core data systems (Salesforce, AdPoint, GAM, and other sources) to strengthen reporting accuracy and depth
  • Create scalable processes and tools that improve visibility into business performance and support evolving needs

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 3+ years of experience in yield analytics, advertising analytics, or related fields, with broader experience in media or digital advertising
  • Proven ability to build inventory reports, rate analyses, and profitability models
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, including web analytics, audience targeting, and automated buying channels
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with CRM and reporting platforms such as Salesforce
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Hybrid schedule: 4 days per week in our New York City office

The base salary for this role is $88,000–$106,000. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
