Pay Range: $86,934 - $118,210

The Senior Analyst, Trade Compliance and Operations, will be responsible for overseeing trade compliance and international Logistics activities to ensure the company adheres to all applicable international trade laws and regulations. This role will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders, implementing trade compliance strategies, and optimizing trade operations to support business goals.

What you will be doing

  • Support the development and maintenance of trade compliance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate and provide guidance and training to various departments on international logistics and trade compliance – including Logistics, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service and Research & Development (R&D)
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, and other relevant departments to align trade compliance strategies with business objectives
  • Ensure company imports are compliant with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) import regulations such as Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, valuation, country of origin, assists, recordkeeping, antidumping/countervailing (AD/CVD), free trade agreements (FTA), special trade programs, and Partner Government Agency PGA) declarations
  • Regular collaboration with customs brokerage partner and freight forwarders
  • Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Review free trade agreement (FTA) qualifications and issue certificates as needed
  • Issue and maintain customs broker scorecards measuring adherence to business rules
  • Maintain operational and compliance related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Classify products for import (HTS) and export (Schedule B and ECCN)

What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in Trade Compliance related role
  • U.S. Customs Broker License
  • In-depth knowledge of trade compliance regulations and operational processes

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in international business or supply chain preferred
  • General knowledge of Purchasing procedures
  • Familiarity with Incoterms
  • International Logistics experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to develop and deliver training material relevant to Purchasing, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Research & Development (R&D), etc.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risk and develop compliance strategies.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing compliance issues
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, results oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Beneficial to have experience in Microsoft Access, Power BI and SharePoint
