PURPOSE

Support the production of the FWD IFRS17 results for business units ("BUs") in accordance with Group policies and controls, as well as support the Actuarial initiatives/projects as required by the Group Actuarial and BUs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide guidance to junior team members in their daily tasks
• Support the production of FWD IFRS17 results by:

➢Independently performing BAU IFRS 17 production run support based on requirements from GO, and ensuring on-time delivery of production results;

➢independently performing IFRS17 model runs, and in-/output validation checks to ensure data and run process completeness

➢escalating issues or findings to manager on a timely manner and suggesting resolution ideas

➢supporting the investigation of issues observed in the runs

➢independently populating validation and result templates, forms and reports to be reviewed by manager and BUs

➢working with the BUs to understand data or input issues

➢explaining run issues to development team for troubleshooting

➢Supporting ad-hoc requests from Group Actuarial or BUs during result production

• Contribute as an experienced project resource in supporting the Actuarial project/initiative from Group Actuarial or business units

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• 3 to 5 years insurance experience in actuarial functions is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Actuarial Science or other Mathematics/Statistics based major
• Good progress in internationally recognised actuarial professional examinations

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Good understanding of Actuarial valuation processes and IFRS17 are preferred
• Good Prophet experience
• Good Excel skills
• Good Python skills
