Job Purpose and Impact

This role helps stakeholders make better decisions by turning spend and market data into scalable data solutions and actionable insights. You’ll design, build, and scale data pipelines, reusable datasets, and self-service tools for Procurement & Transportation teams, combining data from multiple sources. You’ll partner with stakeholders and use SQL, Python, APIs, and AI tools to automate workflows, improve data access, and drive informed, risk-aware decision making.

Key Accountabilities

  • Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable data solutions and technical designs
  • Design, build, and scale data pipelines, reusable datasets, and self-service tools
  • Develop benchmarks, cost models, and data products that support spend and market decisions
  • Partner with stakeholders to refine needs, validate outputs, and support solution adoption
  • Improve usability, documentation, and self-service access across data solutions
  • Provide input into prioritization based on value, feasibility, and technical dependencies
  • Define and maintain data standards, business definitions, and governance practices
  • Use SQL, Python, APIs, and AI tools to automate workflows, enrich data, and generate insights
  • Promote best practices and mentor analysts on scalable solution development
  • Independently solve complex problems and drive delivery

Qualifications

  • Experience in analytics, procurement, supply chain, market intelligence
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau or Power BI
  • Proven experience building data models, pipelines, and analytical solutions for business users
  • Experience using APIs, including AI APIs, for automation and analytics
  • Familiarity with market data, benchmarks, forecasting, or cost modeling
  • Knowledge of data governance, quality, and documentation practices
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Ability to clearly present technical concepts and business implications to varied audiences
