
Assist in establishing and maintaining a comprehensive SAM Framework for all software and SaaS applications across the organization.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date software & contract inventory, ensuring data quality within SAM tools and CMDB systems.
Track and manage software entitlements, usage, renewals, and compliance to prevent overspend and license violations.
Work with 3rd party SAM tools like Flexera, Nexthink to analyze software usage and prepare license position reports.
Support audits and compliance initiatives with accurate software inventory, license documentation
Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide transparency into software utilization, compliance, and portfolio health.
Help evaluate and onboard new software solutions, ensuring compliance with IT and SAM governance standards.
Collaborate with Procurement and Vendor Management teams during renewals, true-ups, negotiations, and sourcing decisions by providing data-driven insights.
Identify opportunities for license optimization, including reharvesting, right-sizing, subscription cleanup, and software rationalization to reduce cost.
Monitor unauthorized, unlicensed, or end-of-life software to reduce compliance risks.
