The role
The Senior Analyst – Reconciliation is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial account reconciliations. This role plays a critical part in month-end close activities, variance investigation, and continuous process improvement, while maintaining strong controls and high data integrity across general ledger, bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts.
Your Responsibilities:
Review, prepare, and approve account reconciliations in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
Reconcile General Ledger, bank accounts, intercompany accounts, and balance sheet accounts on a periodic basis
Perform month-end close activities, including preparation and uploading of journal entries
Review, analyze, and investigate reconciliation variances; ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
Manage and clear open and aged items, including proactive and timely communication with relevant stakeholders
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all reconciliations, adjustments, and supporting schedules
Ensure a high level of accuracy, compliance, and internal control adherence in the reconciliation process
Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort
Support audits by providing reconciliation schedules, explanations, and required documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and process gaps
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (4-year course required)
Minimum of 4–5 years of hands-on experience in account reconciliations
At least 2 years of experience in a senior role
Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting
CPA license is a strong advantage
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet tight month-end deadlines
Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Willingness to work night shift or morning shift, as required
