Job Description

As a key member ofWesternUnion’s Quality Assurance team based in Buenos Aires (CABA), this role acts as a critical contributor in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions. The positionis responsible fordesigning and executing comprehensive testing strategies, supporting automation initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams tomaintainquality standards across applications, systems, and platforms within the Quality Assurance function.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop,maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery across multiple platforms

  • Participate in end-to-end testing activities, including functional, system, integration, network, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

  • Design, implement, and enhance automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and test coverage

  • Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure alignment on quality objectives

  • Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with stakeholders to ensuretimelyresolution and root cause analysis

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance overall product quality

  • Support release cycles byvalidatingbuilds, performing regression testing, and ensuring readiness for production deployment

  • Analyze test results and provide clear reporting and insights on quality metrics, risks, and improvement opportunities


Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+ yearsof experience in Quality Assurance or related IT roles, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies

  • Proven experience in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management across different testing types

  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, with the ability to design andmaintainscalable solutions

  • Knowledge of application, system, integration, and user acceptance testing within complex technology environments

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes

  • Experience working in Agile or fast-paced development environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings and convey quality-related insights

  • Intermediate Englishproficiency, both verbal and written(desirable)


Work Shift
