The Sr Analyst, PMO supports the successful delivery of projects across the organization by partnering with Project Managers, Group Leaders, and PMO leadership to ensure project data, reporting, and processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned with organizational standards. This role serves as a key resource for project performance analysis, reporting, project setup and governance activities, while driving continuous process improvement and providing actionable insights that support effective decision-making and project success. What you will do:

  • Meet regularly with assigned Project Managers to review key performance indicators, project financial performance, and project status updates.
  • Analyze project performance metrics and trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve project outcomes.
  • Identify, communicate, and escalate project risks, data discrepancies, or performance concerns to PMO leadership and key stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Evaluate project setup, budgeting, and resource planning information to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
  • Lead and support project setup and maintenance activities, ensuring project plans, contracts, budgets, and related information are accurately reflected within project management systems.
  • Manage project submissions and coordinate resolution of project setup issues to support timely project execution.
  • Develop, maintain, and present dashboards, reports, and analyses using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint for Project Managers, Group Leaders, and organizational leadership.
  • Support quarterly forecasting, planning, and business review activities through data analysis, reporting, and presentation of project performance information.
  • Utilize project management, CRM, financial, and reporting systems to collect, validate, analyze, and interpret project data.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to project management processes, reporting, workflows, and system utilization.
  • Maintain and enhance process documentation, templates, best practice guides, and training materials to support consistent project management practices.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of PMO processes, documentation, and reporting structures to ensure effectiveness and alignment with organizational objectives.

What you will bring:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience in project management support, project controls, business analysis, financial analysis, PMO operations, or related business insight functions.
  • Experience supporting project delivery and performance measurement within a consulting, engineering, professional services, or project-based environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and presentations for operational and leadership audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Licenses/Certifications:
  • None required.
  • Software:
  • Microsoft Suite Products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc).
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Deltek, and CRM systems preferred.
