The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly analytical and naturally curious Senior Analyst to join our People & Culture team. This individual will turn workforce data into clear, actionable insight for leaders—building and maintaining dashboards, automating our HRIS, and safeguarding data quality across the function. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a critical thinker who is equally comfortable in a pivot table, a slide deck, and an AI tool, and who is energized by finding smarter, more scalable ways to work.
What You'll Do:
- Employee Reporting: Run employee reports & dashboards, synthesize findings into clear takeaways, and recommend concrete action steps for stakeholders. Produce attrition/retention, headcount, and workforce-planning analyses to support strategic decisions.
- HRIS Management: Maintain data integrity within our HRIS and build automations, workflows, and integrations that reduce manual effort. This includes supporting an HRIS implementation to Rippling.
- Automation & Process Innovation: Proactively streamline P&C workflows using HRIS capabilities, formulas, scripts, Airtable, and AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to eliminate manual effort and scale operations. Maintain documentation of workflows so work is repeatable.
- Survey Implementation & Analysis: Support survey design, deployment, and analysis, translating results into themes and recommendations.
- Compensation Cycle Support: Assist with the annual compensation cycle including data preparation, modeling, benchmarking support, and analysis.
- Data Quality & Compliance: Run regular audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and a single source of truth across data sources. Support compliance and mandated reporting (e.g., EEO-1) and maintain audit-ready records.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Business Leaders, Finance, Operations on staffing data & analysis.
- Team Mentorship & Ad Hoc Projects: Provide data oversight and quality reviews for the People Operations team. Work on ad hoc team initiatives.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in an HR, People Analytics, or analytics-focused role
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling), strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to present data clearly and compellingly
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (Rippling strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with and genuine interest in AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, native AI software, etc.)
Competencies:
- Analytical Rigor & Critical Thinking: Interrogates the data behind the numbers, questions assumptions, and draws sound, defensible conclusions rather than accepting outputs at face value.
- Data Storytelling & Presentation: Translates complex analyses into clear, compelling dashboards and presentations that drive leadership decisions.
- Data Quality & Diligence: Treats data accuracy as non-negotiable, catching discrepancies early and maintaining trustworthy, audit-ready records.
- Automation & Efficiency Mindset: Instinctively looks for ways to streamline, scale, and automate recurring work instead of repeating manual effort.
- Curiosity: naturally curious and self-directed, enjoys exploring new tools and ways of working, and comfortable with change as business needs evolve
- Collaboration & Team Orientation: Works well across the broader People & Culture team, sharing knowledge and supporting teammates to deliver as a unit.
