About the Role
Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst to support Paid Search and Shopping programs across one or more portfolio brands. This role will help drive revenue growth through campaign management, testing, analysis, and optimization across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and emerging platforms.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. A successful candidate brings digital consumer marketing experience and expertise in Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, and modern AI-powered marketing and reporting workflows.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Paid Search and Shopping campaigns across Google and Microsoft Ads
Support budget pacing, forecasting, bid management, and promotional execution
Help drive performance across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns
Monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities to improve ROAS, traffic, and conversion
Build reports and deliver insights to Marketing and Brand stakeholders
Support testing initiatives across ad copy, landing pages, audiences, and Shopping campaigns
Use performance data and testing insights to inform optimization and budget allocation decisions
Analyze performance data and provide actionable recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Analytics, Creative, and Brand Marketing
Stay current on evolving search automation, AI-driven campaign tools, and platform best practices
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team best practices
Criteria
3–5 years of Paid Search and/or Shopping campaign management experience
Strong understanding of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
Experience with Shopping campaigns, Performance Max, and automated bidding strategies
Intermediate experience using AI and automation tools to support campaign optimization, reporting, analysis, or workflow efficiency
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience with Excel and analytics/reporting tools such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, Domo, or Tableau
Strong communication and organizational skills
Retail or eCommerce experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday, with Friday optional in office

The expected starting pay range for this position is $85,000– $95,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
