We own and operate the most renowned destination resorts in the world as well as regional and local ski areas outside major cities, and connect them all through one unrivaled network. We are looking for ambitious leaders, innovators and creators to join our talented team. If you’re ready to pursue your fullest potential, we want to get to know you!

Candidates for year-round positions are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applications will be accepted up to 90 days after the posting date, or until the position is filled (whichever is first).

The Snow Surfaces Center of Excellence drives operational excellence and employee experience across the largest resort network of snowmaking, grooming and terrain parks in the world. The Senior Analyst, Snow Surfaces COE is responsible for executing on the activities that build the data driven reporting foundation for the Snow Surfaces COE, working with internal and external partners to turn operational, financial, and utility data into clear insights that support better decision-making across snowmaking, grooming, terrain parks, from an operational and capital perspective.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $77,841.00 - $90,000
  • Employment Type: Year Round
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: No

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and execute against the Snow Surfaces data deliverable — working with mountain Operational Insights team, support building a strong Snow Surfaces data foundation across the portfolio, in alignment with Dr Sir and Sr Mgr to identifying gaps, prioritizing the assets, integrations, and tools needed to support operational and capital and decision-making.
  • Lead KPI alignment and support of launch performance dashboards — support development and launch of snowmaking and grooming KPIs, then supporting dashboard monitoring and intervention for both functions across the resort portfolio.
  • Provide capital investment analytical support — in partnership with cross functional partners, deliver ROI proof of concept modeling, sensitivity analysis, and assumption documentation for capital decisions and master planning.
  • Quantify the energy and utility demand opportunity — in partnership with the Operational Insights team and third party partners as applicable, benchmarking consumption patterns across the portfolio, analyzing rate structures, and identifying the highest-impact demand management levers.
  • Support creation of internal review documents — pulling and validating the underlying performance data, building analytical exhibits, and ensuring the numbers in leadership presentations are accurate and clearly framed.
  • Build COE status and budget tracking tools — creating and maintaining the reporting infrastructure that gives COE leadership real-time visibility into deliverable progress.
  • Execute on critical COE administrative activities — budget tracking, PO creation and receipt, contract and vendor data management, and project status reporting alongside the Operations Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • Financial modeling and ROI analysis: Experience working with partners to build multi-scenario financial models, sensitivity analyses, and investment cases — with the discipline to document assumptions, optionality, tradeoffs and preferences.
  • Data visualization and dashboard design: Proficiency in utilizing data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent) with experience interpreting drivers and actions for operational, non-technical users who need fast, clear answers to support their effective use of the tools.
  • Energy and utility economics: Fluency in utility cost structures — demand charges, time-of-use rates, consumption benchmarking — and the ability to translate those mechanics into operational guidance.
  • KPI framework design: Experience defining, standardizing, and managing KPI frameworks across multiple business units or sites, including navigating data quality gaps and inconsistency.
  • Communication: Ability to translate complex analyses and data infrastructure recommendations into plain-language narratives and visual exhibits for non-technical leadership audiences.
  • Analytical rigor with operational pragmatism: Maintains high standards for accuracy and methodology while being realistic about data limitations and organizational constraints — builds analysis that gets used, not just admired.

Experience:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in analytics, financial modeling, or operational data roles — ideally within capital-intensive industries such as energy, utilities, real estate, or hospitality/resort operations
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills required; experience with SQL or data querying tools a strong plus
  • Experience in mountain operations, outdoor recreation, or a seasonally variable industry preferred

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $77,841.00 - $90,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
