About the Role:

As a member of the Methodology Architecture & Construction team, the Senior Analyst will contribute to the technical and methodological development of ESG products. This role supports the design, implementation, and testing of product methodologies and data flows within our IT systems, databases, and analytical platforms.

The position involves close collaboration with research, technology, and methodology design teams to ensure the effective integration of new methodologies, data pipelines, and publication processes. This is a hands-on, technical, and collaborative position suited to someone with strong analytical and programming skills who enjoys working at the intersection of data, systems, and methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of ESG product methodologies and data architecture to support corporate and government research offerings.

  • Support data flow triage activities, including responding to client data inquiries, retrieving and validating data files, assisting with bug fixes, and re-running data publications when third-party data is updated.

  • Collaborate with methodology designers to support their testing and ideation processes, including the execution of methodology or system test runs.

  • Assist in defining and implementing clean and efficient coding practices to support data processing and publication workflows.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation that specifies the calculation logic, data structure, and processing steps for methodological components.

  • Work cross-functionally with research, product, and technology teams to ensure smooth data integration, quality assurance, and timely delivery of new product features.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Methodology Architecture & Construction team.

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of relevant work experience, particularly in data analysis, data engineering, or related technical roles within ESG, finance, or research environments.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Strong programming and data-handling skills in Python and/or SQL.

  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and performing data validation or transformation tasks.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and process quality.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting data flows through AWS (e.g., S3 bucket operations).

  • Familiarity with API integration and support.

  • Understanding of ESG data, financial data, or structured data pipelines.

  • Exposure to agile or iterative development environments.

Base Salary Compensation Range

RON 152,900.00-239,433.33

Bonus Target:

12.5% Annual

We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
