Job Summary

This role is responsible for updating and managing demand forecasts within SAP, executing MRP and LTP runs, and supporting accurate master production scheduling. The individual ensures smooth demand planning operations, maintains management information reports, and communicates effectively with buyers and planners to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Update and maintain demand forecasts using SAP Master Production Schedule to ensure data accuracy for production planning.
2. Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Long-Term Planning (LTP) runs in SAP, addressing routine exceptions and reporting discrepancies to team members.
3. Support demand planning activities by analyzing forecast data and communicating updates to buyers and planners within the team.
4. Participate in management reporting by preparing and distributing routine MIS reports using SAP and Excel.
5. Respond to technical queries related to supported applications by applying fundamental knowledge of SAP MPS and demand planning processes.
6. Engage in assigned project tasks, demonstrating basic understanding of CRM/Cloud domain concepts relevant to production scheduling.
7. Participate in team code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance understanding of SAP MPS processes.
8. Attend and actively participate in job-related training to build foundational technical and communication skills.

Skill Requirements

1. Fundamental Knowledge Of Sap Master Production Schedule And Mrp Processes.
2. Basic Understanding Of Demand Planning Methodologies And Supply Chain Operations.
3. Familiarity With Crm/Cloud Domain Concepts As They Relate To Production Scheduling.
4. Basic Proficiency In Generating And Interpreting Mis/Management Reports Using Sap And Excel.
5. Good Communication Skills For Effective Coordination With Team Members.
6. Analytical Thinking For Reviewing Data And Identifying Routine Issues In Planning Processes.

Other Requirements

1. SAP Certified Application Associate – Production Planning & Manufacturing (optional, valuable for this role).
