Job Description

Dell Technologies’ Event Marketing & Logistics team relies on a dedicated product lab to prepare, configure, and ship hardware to press, influencers, event teams, and sponsored content creators. As Marketing’s programs grow — more product launches, more events, more full-funnel activations — the operational complexity of that lab grows with it.
The Marketing Systems & Lab Operations Support Specialist is a new role created to bring dedicated capacity to that function. You will help drive the end-to-end readiness and logistics of product systems used in Dell’s highest-visibility marketing programs: new product launches, Tier-1 press reviews, influencer send programs, sponsored content, and global events (Dell and industry events).

As a Marketing Systems & Lab Operations Specialist, you will work directly alongside Dell’s experienced lab engineers and partner closely with Engineering, PR, Reviews and Marketing teams. This role is equal parts technical, operational, and cross-functional — and is central to how Dell’s products show up in the world.

You will:

• Prepare, configure, test, and validate hardware, software, and firmware to ensure systems are fully ready for marketing programs, product launches, and events.
  
• Coordinate end-to-end logistics for domestic and international events, including device preparation, shipping, customs documentation, deployment, and on-site technical support.
  
• Collaborate with Engineering and lab teams to ensure approved build specifications, firmware versions, quality control standards, and operational readiness for all units.
  
• Provide hands-on technical support in live, high-visibility environments by setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and dismantling products during events, reviews, and influencer activations.
  
• Manage inventory, storage, security, documentation, and scalable deployment processes while serving as a key liaison between Marketing, PR, Engineering, and third-party logistics partners.

Essential Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in systems operations, technical logistics, field engineering, IT support, or event technology environments.
  
• Proven ability to configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software systems, including firmware updates and issue resolution in high-pressure situations.
  
• Strong experience managing complex logistics, including inventory control, shipping coordination, vendor management, and international freight operations.
  
• Demonstrated success collaborating across cross-functional teams, particularly with Engineering, Marketing, and Communications stakeholders.
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, with willingness to travel up to 25% for launches and events.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience supporting press or influencer programs in a consumer technology environment
• Background in AV, production, or broadcast technology for live events
  

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $66,100.00- $99,100.00
