About the role

We're looking for a Senior Analyst, Marketing Compliance to join our high-performing team in Brisbane on a fixed term basis for 12 months. As a Senior Analyst, you will be at the forefront of managing regulatory and compliance risks, making a meaningful impact to our business and clients.  You will also manage disclosure and regulatory risks associated with fund and product marketing activities, investigate and analyse regulatory changes which impact QIC and/or our clients and recommend frameworks and controls to ensure that relevant regulatory obligations are met. This is an opportunity to combine regulatory expertise with business partnering and become a trusted adviser within a globally recognised investment organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a best-practice approach to the identification and management of regulatory and compliance risks associated with global product marketing activities.
  • Provide proactive and trusted advice on marketing and regulatory obligations across Australian and international markets.
  • Provide oversight and advice on regulatory and compliance risks and issues that impact QIC.
  • Monitor, investigate and interpret regulatory developments, translating complex requirements into practical business solutions.

About you

You are a commercially minded compliance professional who enjoys partnering with the business and influencing outcomes. You can navigate complex regulatory environments, build trusted stakeholder relationships and translate technical obligations into practical, actionable advice.

You'll likely bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience in compliance, regulatory risk, product governance, disclosure or marketing compliance within financial services or investment management.
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging regulatory requirements impacting product and fund marketing activities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, combined with sound professional judgement.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a passion for helping businesses achieve compliant and client-focused outcomes.
