The People function at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Senior Analyst, Leave & Benefits to join our team.
The Senior Analyst, Leave & Benefits serves as the primary administrator for the Company's leave of absence and accommodation programs while providing operational support for the Company's health, retirement, and wellbeing programs.
Reporting to the Director, Benefits, this role partners closely with employees, managers, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, HR Operations, and the Company's leave administration vendor to ensure timely, compliant, and employee-focused administration of leave and accommodation cases. The
position also supports key benefits initiatives, including Open Enrollment, Workday Benefits administration, employee wellbeing programs, reporting, and continuous process improvement.

You are a detail-oriented HR professional with expertise in leave administration, accommodation programs, and employee benefits. You enjoy solving complex employee situations while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and delivering a positive employee experience.
You are comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously while partnering with employees, managers, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely case management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leave Administration & Accommodation
•Administer and coordinate the Company's leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, disability coordination, military leave, state and local leave programs, and Company leave policies.
•Manage leave and accommodation cases from initial request through return to work while coordinating with employees, managers, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, and the Company's leave administration vendor.
•Provide end-to-end leave and accommodation case management, including reviewing documentation, coordinating the ADA interactive process, tracking leave entitlements, and ensuring timely case resolution.
•Serve as the primary liaison with the leave administration vendor to ensure accurate case setup, certifications, documentation, leave tracking, and return-to-work processes.
•Respond to employee, manager, and HR Business Partner inquiries regarding leave policies, eligibility, accommodation requests, and available benefits.
•Coordinate payroll impacts, disability benefits, leave dates, and paid leave usage with Payroll and external vendors.
•Communicate leave determinations, accommodation decisions, required documentation, and return-to-work expectations in a timely and professional manner.
•Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee medical information and sensitive employee matters.
Compliance & Governance
•Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, PWFA, USERRA, applicable state and local leave regulations, and Company policies.
•Monitor leave and accommodation cases for compliance risks and escalate complex or sensitive situations to Legal and Benefits leadership, as appropriate.
•Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation for all leave and accommodation cases.
•Support internal and external audits related to leave administration and benefits compliance.
Benefits Operations Support
•Support the Benefits team in the administration of the Company's health, retirement, and wellbeing programs.
•Assist with Open Enrollment activities, including system testing, employee communications, educational sessions, and enrollment validation.
•Perform Workday Benefits testing, audits, and quality assurance activities.
•Support employee benefit inquiries and resolution of enrollment-related issues.
•Coordinate Company wellbeing initiatives and maintain the wellbeing program budget.
•Prepare recurring benefits reports, including Employee Assistance Program utilization reporting.
•Participate in benefits-related projects, vendor implementations, and system enhancements.
Process Improvement & Reporting
•Analyze leave utilization, accommodation activity, and operational metrics to identify trends and
improvement opportunities.
•Develop recurring reports and dashboards supporting leave administration and benefits
operations.
•Recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, employee
experience, and service delivery.
•Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Benefits function.
YOU HAVE
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Typically 3–5 years of progressive experience administering leave of absence and accommodation programs.
•Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local leave and accommodation regulations, including FMLA, ADA, PWFA, USERRA, and applicable state leave laws.
•Experience coordinating leave administration with third-party administrators.
•Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex leave and benefits concepts clearly.
•Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
•Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build collaborative relationships across HR, Payroll, Legal, managers, employees, and external vendors.
•Experience using HRIS and leave management systems, including Workday Benefits.
•Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•CEBS or other Benefits-related certification is a plus.
•Experience working within a shared services or HR Operations model is preferred.
