Job Responsibilities:
Magna is seeking a Sr. Analyst, IT Sourcing and Vendor Management (SVM) to work in Magna IT’s SVM department. The Sr. Analyst will be part of a global team that has presence in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting both the IT Professional Services transformation project and the Software Optimization project, focusing on contract governance, compliance, and spend reporting. The Sr. Analyst may also be responsible for negotiating and managing various regional and global IT contracts. In addition, the Sr. Analyst will represent Magna IT’s SVM team in the country when working with internal customers and global partners. The Sr. Analyst will support, on a global basis, Magna IT, Magna Corporate, Group, and Divisional locations.
Major Responsibilities
Own and manage recurring SVM reporting processes, including monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting
Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics to track spend, supplier performance, and compliance leveraging Workday and Power BI
Facilitate the SVM procurement lifecycle process
Monitor and manage vendor performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs
Conduct regular vendor reviews and audits to assess performance and address any issues
Demonstrate proven experience in vendor performance and relationship management
Perform Supplier Management, Tier 3 Contracting and Governance specifically in IT Professional Services & Software Optimization Programs

Effective problem-solving skills for supplier related issues
High attention to detail in contract, performance monitoring, data validation and reporting accuracy
Ability to design structured reports that are scalable, repeatable, and user-friendly
Ability to translate complex data into executive-friendly insights
Experience working with multiple data sources (supplier reports, financial data, spend data, etc)
Strong interpersonal skills for building positive supplier relationships and stakeholder management
Excellent negotiation skills and trainings
People leadership and influence skills
Business English ability (written & oral) is required
German language skills (written & oral) is an asset
Project Management skills in larger transformation projects
Excellent Microsoft Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Teams, Outlook)

Knowledge and Education
A bachelor’s degree is typically required, in the absence of equivalent work experience. Degrees in the analytical field are preferred, such as business, economics, psychology, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or finance.
A supply Chain Degree or Certification is an asset.
Work Experience
5-7 years of work experience in the field of IT Vendor Management or Procurement would be preferred with a strong background in data analysis, reporting and dashboarding.
Work Environment
Regular travel 10-15% of the time
Travel activities, if needed, are generally more local trips to visit either internal customers and colleagues or to meet with vendors.
