As a Senior Analyst in Prudential Supervision, you will have direct responsibility for supervising insurers within the insurance sector, helping to strengthen the safety and resilience of New Zealand’s financial system.
As a Senior Analyst in Prudential Supervision, you’ll conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis across the insurance sector. You’ll assess prudential risk profiles, make well-formed judgements and help implement effective supervisory strategies to mitigate identified risks. You’ll prepare high-quality advice for managers, senior leaders and Reserve Bank committees, and communicate complex work clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Working collaboratively across the Directorate and Financial Stability Group, you’ll engage with regulated entities at management, executive and board level, be involved with analytical projects, and support continuous improvement.

The anticipated appointment range for this role is $128,699 to $150,149 (actual salary will be dependent on your skills and experience).
