Job's mission

As a Senior Analyst, Finance Control, you will be a key link between financial performance and manufacturing operations in Singapore. Reporting to the Global Manufacturing Controller, you will translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making, improve cost efficiency, and enhance forecast accuracy.

This role is well suited for a hands-on, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders. You will apply strong business acumen, financial best practices, and analytical thinking to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and deliver data-driven solutions that are structured, practical, and easy to understand.

As an individual contributor, you will collaborate closely with GOPS Finance Business Partners, stakeholders across the global GOPS organization, Finance Shared Services, and other Business and Service Units, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse, global teams.

What you will be working on

  • Develop and manage the annual budget, quarterly outlook, and monthly forecasts for Global Manufacturing Operations in Singapore, including variance and trend analysis.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial management reports through hands‑on data validation, reconciliation, and maintenance of complete financial records.
  • Act as a trusted finance business partner to manufacturing and functional stakeholders, connecting financial outcomes with operational performance.
  • Support cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvement programs by delivering deep‑dive analytics on key cost drivers, productivity, and performance.
  • Analyze business spend, capital expenditure plans, and related variances by function or business unit, including actual versus standard cost analysis by product line.
  • Leverage SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, and automation tools to enhance management reporting, financial modeling, simulation, and forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor and prepare grant audits in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity, professionalism, and strong internal control awareness.
  • Take on additional projects to gain exposure to broader business operations, mergers and acquisitions, and system or process implementations.
  • Support month-end activities and prepare journal entries
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within process areas to drive scale and efficiency
  • Drive the adoption of AI tools and technologies
  • Lead, support or manage ad-hoc global finance projects and key workstreams that may arise in line with business requirements
  • Develop and maintain "expert-level" knowledge around various business processes, operational and financial data.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong track record in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail, ability to translate large data sets into clear insights and a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across a cross‑functional, matrix organization.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to perform accurately in a fast‑paced, complex manufacturing environment.

What sets you apart

  • Experience in a high‑mix equipment manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
  • Strong financial modeling, simulation, and scenario‑planning capabilities.
  • Hands‑on experience with Power BI, Anaplan, or other business intelligence and forecasting tools.
  • Exposure to system implementations, forecasting tools, or finance process improvements.
  • A growth mindset with the flexibility to adapt to change, manage ambiguity, and take on new challenges.
