About your team

General Counsel (GC) is a trusted advisor to all parts of Fidelity International Limited (“FIL”), providing high-value independent advisory and assurance expertise through our specialist teams. GC comprises of Legal, Risk, Compliance, Tax, and Public Policy & Strategic Relationship Management. GC Shared Services function (GCSS) is a global centre of expertise currently in Dalian and India, providing operational support and services to the General Counsel function. GCSS Functional administration team (FA team) provides first line business support & manage the functional administration activities for various GC owned systems.

About your role

Join the GCSS Functional Admin team to play a pivotal role in functional administration, business operations, analysis and support for GC-owned technology platforms. This dynamic techno-functional role combines technical expertise, providing first-line support for cloud-based, and AI/ML-enabled systems with deep functional knowledge in Risk and Compliance. The business processes include KYC (Know your client) and ASL (Authorised Signatory List).

Responsibilities include supporting internal processes and conduct periodic reviews & updates of KYC policies and procedures to address regulatory changes and emerging risks. Beyond day-to-day administration, you’ll contribute in performing business and data analysis, as a business analyst, for new features and enhancements on GC-owned technology platform, also conducting UAT validations and User trainings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day KYC team operations, providing guidance and support.
  • Maintain and enhance the compliance framework for regulated activities.
  • Perform business and data analysis for new system features, enhancement and defects.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owners, Vendors and internal technology teams.
  • Participate in change management, high quality documentation, perform UAT for platform updates.
  • Engage with stakeholders to offer guidance and system support.

Skillsets required

About 4+ years of experience working as business analysis, data analyst, or in change management, collaborating closely with both business and technology teams, having the following skillsets:

  • Technical high level understanding of large IT systems including Cloud, SAS or on-prem systems.
  • Experience or knowledge in General Counsel functions, Risk/Compliance, IRM ServiceNow platform and AML/KYC regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Functional and business mindset with the ability to learn Risk and Compliance domains, coupled with excellent communication skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Team player with excellent stakeholder management capabilities, while being proactive and adaptable.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations, identify risks and develop practical solutions effective at a global level.
