About the Role

As a Senior Analyst for Front Office & Client Support, you will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of ANZ's Global Markets business. You will act as a trusted partner to Sales, Trading and key stakeholders, helping ensure the efficient management of post-trade activities, operational risk and process excellence across multiple product classes.

Working within a global team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality support services, drive process improvements and help ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.

This appointment requires a strong understanding of the fundamentals of the role.

What will your day look like?

As Senior Analyst for Front Office Client Support, you will:

  • Support Sales and Trading teams by managing post-trade lifecycle activities, including amendments, cancellations, option expiries and trade support inquiries
  • Review operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and straight-through processing capabilities
  • Partner with stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Finance to resolve issues and deliver client outcomes
  • Develop and maintain robust controls, procedures and documentation to support operational excellence and risk management
  • Support new product implementations, trade booking models and strategic initiatives across Global Markets products

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Strong knowledge of Global Markets products, including FX, Rates & Credit, Commodities and Structured Products
  • Strong understanding of Front Office Support or Middle Office processes within a financial markets environment
  • Experience working with trading platforms such as Murex and associated trade lifecycle processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve operational issues
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across global teams
  • Strong understanding of operational risk, controls and regulatory requirements within a banking environment
  • Knowledge of broker execution platforms
  • Experience supporting process improvement, automation or straight-through processing initiatives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment while managing competing priorities
  • Strong customer service mindset balanced with effective risk and control management
