About the Role

Support data-driven decision-making, forward planning, and cost optimization across the organization by monitoring budgets and analyzing financial performance, with a strong emphasis on expense control, variance analysis, and insightful management reporting. Contribute to FP&A activities to enable effective performance management and informed decision-making, while acting as a strategic finance partner to business stakeholders to drive budgeting processes, performance monitoring, and key strategic initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the annual budget with a focus on expenses at cost‑center level.

  • Perform monthly Budget vs. Actual and variance analysis to identify risks, trends, and optimization opportunities.

  • Prepare and deliver monthly spending reports to respective functions, including remaining budget balances.

  • Prepare financial performance commentary and insights on key drivers, impacts, and risks to support management decisions.

  • Support forward‑looking forecasts based on spending trends and business developments.

  • Track and analyze non‑financial KPIs on a monthly basis, including channel‑wise performance metrics.

  • Monitor the business impact of financial and operational performance across channels and initiatives.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align financial results with business strategies and operational outcomes.

  • Assist financial and business review presentations.

  • Act as a key finance partner to functional teams, providing guidance on budget usage and financial planning.

  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data and reports.

  • Support Group-lead and LBU driven projects, related to financial planning, reporting, and cost management.

  • Assist in enhancing reporting tools, templates, and analysis methodologies to improve efficiency and data quality.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • B achelor’s or master’s degree in accounting/finance or others/ ACCA/CIMA/CFA Holder or partially qualified

  • Minimum 3 years of experiences in financial planning, budgeting, or management reporting.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.

  • Proficient in PowerPoint presentation.

  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret both financial and non‑financial data.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to non‑finance audiences.

  • Familiar of actuarial concepts, insurance products and accounting would be an asset.
