The Senior Analyst, Financial Information Systems, is responsible for supporting and improving the finance systems landscape across Ryan's Europe and Asia Pacific businesses.

This role is hands-on and focused on reporting capabilities, data, automation, and practical AI opportunities, and coordination of system-related activities linked to integration and transformation initiatives.

The Senior Analyst works closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to help create a scalable, efficient, and user-friendly Finance applications ecosystem, while supporting more data-driven and automated ways of working across Finance.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align with Ryan Key Results
People:

  • Contributes to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Works closely with Finance team members to understand pain points and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through data, automation, and AI.

Client:

  • Supports relationships with stakeholders within and outside the Finance function
  • Supports training and adoption activities for new dashboards, automated workflows, and AI-enabled solutions.

Values:

  • Supports the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of finance systems and related applications.
  • Develops and maintains financial reports, dashboards, and system-based insights using ERP and reporting tools.
  • Partners with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical reporting, automation, or AI solutions.
  • Supports finance systems activities related to integration and transformation initiatives, including system changes, testing, user readiness, and deployment support.
  • Works with Business Solutions, IT, and other teams on data flows, integrations, and system dependencies across the Finance application landscape.
  • Identifies and supports opportunities to improve finance processes through better use of systems, reporting, automation, and emerging AI-enabled tools.
  • Supports issue tracking, prioritization, documentation, and communication of progress to management.
  • Completes tasks efficiently and communicates progress to management.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant experience in finance data, analytics, automation, financial systems, or a related role is required.
  • Experience with financial reporting, including the development of reports, dashboards, or analytics using ERP or Business Intelligence tools, is preferred.
  • Understanding of core finance process flows and systems, particularly in areas such as Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay, is preferred.
  • Exposure to system implementations, enhancements, upgrades, integration-related activities, or workflow technologies is preferred.
  • Exposure to automation tools, AI-enabled tools, or intelligent workflow solutions in a business context is preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines is required.

Computer Skills:

  • Experience working with ERP systems and related finance applications is preferred.
  • Experience with reporting, data, or Business Intelligence tools is preferred.
  • Exposure to platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, Power BI, or similar enterprise systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, AI-enabled tools, and general data analysis techniques is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position works independently and may guide cross-functional teams as required.
