Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Finance Business Partner • Services (SERV)

This role supports commercial finance by overseeing low-margin deal governance, including approval tracking, process management, and operational execution. In addition, the role provides financial oversight of key strategic initiatives, including ownership of program-level financials, monthly reporting, and performance tracking. This position combines deal governance, FP&A, and process improvement, with strong exposure to cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

1-Low-Margin Deal Governance
Support the end-to-end process for low-margin deal review and approval, ensuring adherence to governance requirements. Review deal submissions for completeness and partner with business, product, and delivery teams to ensure proper vetting. Prepare clear deal summaries for financial decision-making.
2-Approval Tracking & Process Ownership
Maintain end-to-end visibility of deal approvals, including status tracking, ownership, and timelines. Ensure data accuracy in system workflows (e.g., Salesforce). Monitor cycle times, identify bottlenecks, and ensure alignment between system records and approval outcomes.
3-Governance Cadence & Quality Control
Coordinate submissions aligned to review cadences and deadlines. Execute quality checks to ensure completeness prior to escalation. Support coordination across Finance, Legal, and other functions for timely approvals.
4-Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
Identify and implement improvements to governance processes. Support development of standardized templates, tracking tools, and reporting frameworks while enabling transition toward automated workflows.
5-Channel Sales Partnership Program
Support financial management of the Channel Sales Partnership program, including performance tracking vs plan, revenue and cost monitoring, and reporting insights to leadership.
6-Month-End Close & Financial Reporting
Support monthly close activities including accruals, validation, and variance analysis. Build and maintain a program-level P&L and deliver concise financial reporting with insights on performance and risks.
7-Stakeholder Coordination
Partner across Finance, Commercial, Product, and Legal teams. Provide clear communication on requirements, timelines, and support issue resolution.

All about you

• Relevant qualification in business, accounting and/or Finance preferred
• Experience operating in a diverse, multi-functional accounting and/or finance group
• Ability to work independently but also be a team player; proactive and able to deliver within agreed deadlines
• Experience building internal and external business partnerships; develops and leverages key relationships in order to understand the needs and objectives of stakeholders
• Exposure to supporting a designated business area on risk and opportunity considerations, leveraging analytical techniques as well as outside trends and events
• Experienced reviewing and analyzing financial and operational modeling to support moderate-to-complex projects
• Experienced with financial systems and applications; serve as a resource to those less experienced (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle)
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvement activities; makes recommendations to further improve procedures
• Successfully resolves complex issues in a timely and efficient manner
