As a Senior Analyst Finance, you are the financial backbone of this engine. You will bridge rigorous accounting controls with entrepreneurial financial co-piloting. This position has responsibilities ranging from establishing cost architecture and unit economics for rapid product tests to leading period close and P&L reporting. Ensure our innovation pipeline is not only consumer-desirable, but commercially viable and scalable.

What are we looking for?

  • Solid grasp of GAAP principles, debits and credits, depreciation, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L dynamics.
  • Strong working command of Microsoft Excel and enterprise ERP environments, specifically SAP (Atlas) and intercompany cross-charge structures.
  • High comfort level working with unit economics, costing models, and fast-paced product testing environments where business models evolve quickly.

What will your key responsibilities be?

Innovation Co-Piloting & Commercial Modeling

  • Partner across the global innovation community to develop agile, commercially viable business models that meet Desirable, Viable, and Feasible (DVF) criteria and support new growth opportunities.
  • Lead financial modeling for pipeline concepts, including cost architecture, forecasting, profitability analysis, and finance support for Proof-of-Concept (POCs), pilots, test markets, and incubation initiatives.

Accounting Rigor, Period Close & Financial Reporting

  • Lead period-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost allocations, and project accounting integrity.
  • Deliver project P&Ls, variance analysis, and management reporting while partnering with Mars Global Services (MGS) and Controllership teams on reconciliations, complex General Ledger (GL) activity, and intercompany transactions.

Compliance, Controls & Commercial Tax

  • Manage corporate tax reporting for the TCE entity, including state and local sales tax compliance across emerging Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment by identifying risks, strengthening governance, and balancing compliance needs with the speed of innovation and pilot launches.

What can you expect from Mars?

  • Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.
  • Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.
