Senior Analyst- European Loans Operations
The Team
As part of Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) business unit, the European Loan Operations group is responsible for facilitating the processing, distribution, and reconciliation of term loan and bond transactions in support of accounting and trading. This role requires great attention to detail, ability to work in a time sensitive environment and the ability to "think outside of the box." In addition to the technical aspect of the role, the senior analyst also performs project work, looks for process improvements, partakes in training and development opportunities and is part of a larger team effort.
How Your Work Impacts the Organization
The Global Middle Office (GMO) Trade Operations Division acts as a servicing centre for our trading desks, and external managers globally, facilitating trade capture, confirmation and settlement of equity, debt, derivative, and currency transactions with brokers, money managers and custodian banks. In addition to the various external counterparts that the teams deal with, there are also several internal groups that assist in the group's daily responsibilities, including Compliance, Treasurer's Office, Counterparty Risk, Legal, Fund Accounting, and other Custody groups. All of these combine to ensure that we are providing accurate and timely information into the NAV and then value to our investors.
We are currently operating under a hybrid model, with some flexibility for remote working. However, Fidelity is gradually transitioning towards a full-time return to the office, as we believe this will help strengthen our culture and enhance both the associate and customer experience. At present, this transition is expected to begin from 2027 onwards, although no fixed timeline has been confirmed.
