Under the directionand coordination withonshore-based staff, this position will focus onhandling complex financial analysis,calculation of forecast/plan,reportingandhandleprojectsforECOOBusiness Units.Analysis includes, but not limited to,expenditures, research on variances, study of trends,recordedjournal entries,procurement related transactions,andfinancial reportingtrends forECOOManagement group
Major Duties
Responsible for, or assists with,monthly/quarterly reporting processeswhich involve, but not limited to, forecasting, P&Lvariance analysis, and preparation of various reports and presentations to the management focusing on key business factors driving financial performance, as well as supplement reports needed by business partners.
Assist in annual planningand forecastwhich includes, but not limited to, supporting the business unit for the preparation, timeliness and integrity of the budget and proactively providing sound and valuable recommendations to stakeholders that would impact key business decisions
Assist in the submission of invoices as requested by business partners, processing of cost chargebacks, and assist in the month-end close process including, but not limited to, reclassifications and adjustment entries.
Directed by and work closely with North America-based partner on knowledge transfer and general collaboration
Own and improve expense reporting views in recurring deliverables
Develop strong relationships and closely coordinate with both partners in Manila and other locations in carrying the identified responsibilities.
Work closely with the Team Leader and the Manager in identifying process improvements to enhancetheproductivityandefficiencyoftheteamandindevelopingfinancial/businessmetrics that are vital to stakeholders' decision-making.
Own andparticipateinotherspecialprojectsandadhocrequirements.
Contribute to production of other reporting requirementsfor theEnterprise COO and DAOfunctions as needed.
Knowledge/Skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required to evaluate financial results
Strong knowledge of and experience in cost accountingand project management skills
Broad financial and accounting knowledge and business acumen acquired through a 4-year degree program and related work experience
Excellent oral and written communication skillsrequiredto present relevant information to management
Strongknowledge in Microsoft Office suite, PeopleSoft, HFM, TM1/Cognos,SAP, Clarity PPMand other similar systems used in financial reporting
Experience with business intelligence analytical tools requiredtointerpret data,perform analyses and communicate financial information to various constituentsKnowledge and experience in Power BI reporting is a plus
Detail-oriented,highly flexible and adaptable to change, and proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work effectively and build relationships in a geographically-blended environment (North America and Manila, primarily)
Experience Required
CPAisa plus but not required, with10+ years ofcollectiveexperience in generaland costaccounting, financial planning and analysis, management reporting,procurement,projectmanagement andanalysis, and other relevantfinance-relatedfunctional areas
Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry is a plus.
