Accountabilities
Data Quality Solution Design: Design, develop, and implement data quality solutions using SQL, Python, and Power Apps across data warehouses, data lakes, and data mesh architectures, ensuring enterprise-grade accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability.
Scalable Validation and Utilities: Build modular scripts, utilities, and reusable components that enable consistent, repeatable data validation and monitoring at scale.
Monitoring and Insight: Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, benchmark scorecards, and supervising reports to track data quality performance, issue backlogs, SLA consistency, and data health trends; translate signals into clear actions
Governance and Risk Visibility: Establish and run governance forums, providing timely updates on key risks, metrics, and remediation progress to drive accountability and priority alignment.
Issue Triage and Root Cause: Lead investigations across source systems, ingestion pipelines, and transformation layers; implement corrective and preventive actions with technology and business partners and validate fixes to prevent recurrence.
Collaborator Partnership: Partner with business users, data owners, and technical teams to understand data flows, business rules, and quality expectations; prioritize and resolve data quality concerns impacting reporting and operations.
Documentation and Data Governance: Maintain documentation for data quality rules, validation logic, data contracts, and KPI definitions; support metadata tagging, taxonomy, and ontology alignment to enable AI-ready data products in collaboration with product and governance teams.
Process Improvement and Automation: Find opportunities to improve monitoring frameworks, controls, and operating processes; automate and standardize recurring monitoring, reporting, and reconciliation activities for reliability and speed.
Capability Building: Promote collaboration and effective methods; contribute to reusable frameworks that improve data quality across global teams.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Education: Quantitative bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience in data quality management, data management systems, or data analytics roles.
Good experience implementing data quality controls, data validation rules, or data integrity monitoring frameworks.
Advanced SQL development skills including CTEs, window functions, complex joins, and performance optimization.
Experience working with distributed data processing platforms such as Databricks, Apache Spark, or PySpark.
Strong Python programming skills for automation, scripting, data processing.
Experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS, MS-Azure, Snowflake, or Amazon Redshift.
Strong documentation, communication, and collaborator collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience with data observability tools or monitoring frameworks.
Experience with validation based on metadata or data contracts.
Familiarity with enterprise data governance platforms such as Collibra.
Experience working in large global organizations or regulated industries.
Exposure to pharmaceutical, healthcare, or commercial analytics datasets.
Experience with Power BI, Excel, or BI tools for data quality monitoring and reporting.
