Job Description

Role : Senior Analyst - Compliance Tuning & Model Validation
Location : Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:

As a Compliance Tuning and Model Validation Senior Analyst, you would act as FCC Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert, and play a critical role in tuning, supporting and bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders from various FCC units to understand requirements, analyze business processes, and define system optimization, tuning and change objectives.

Your insights and recommendations will help drive the support of the existing FCC solutions, as well as development and implementation of future changes that aligns with our business goals and objectives.

  1. Review and optimization of existing FCC solutions for optimization and enhancements.
  2. Feasibility study and analysis of business requirements related to FCC systems, scenarios, threshold analysis on given Business Cases where applicable.
  3. Impact Analysis on interchangeability and interconnectivity between surrounding system and FCC Systems, to identify and propose solutions or possible changes from vendor side when needed.
  4. Preparation of Functional Documentation (FSD/SRS/Architecture Documents and diagrams/DFD) for all the required changes along with Banking internal Process related approvals/reviews/changes.
  5. Good command and understanding of sound change management processes and methodologies.
  6. Advocate and act as single point of contact for the technical design on clarification and discussion with Architecture team, Vendor teams, and any other surrounding system teams.
  7. Ownership of any required functional clarifications with respective teams along with business team where applicable, and proposition of viable solutions and strategies to new business challenges
  8. Co-ordination with Vendor for all the required issue/fix/changes implementation.


Key Accountabilities of the role

  1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for FCC initiatives. Conduct workshops, and surveys to gather input from key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  2. Business Process Analysis: Evaluate current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Document existing processes and propose enhancements or automation solutions to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  3. Solution Design: Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs. Create functional requirements documents, use cases, user stories, and other artifacts to communicate project requirements and scope.
  4. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating communication and collaboration. Keep stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and dependencies, and solicit feedback to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  5. Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to validate FCC solutions meet business requirements and functional specifications. Identify and document defects, discrepancies, and areas for improvement, and work with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  6. Change Management: Assist in the development and implementation of change management plans to support the adoption of new FCC solutions and processes. Provide training and support to end users to ensure successful transition and adoption of new technologies.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies and business analysis. Identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and innovation initiatives to drive business value and competitive advantage.

Communication:

  1. Attend all the team meetings, one to one meeting to have a high level of communication culture.

  2. Timely response to email, tasks assigned and diligent follow-up with various stakeholders.

  3. Prepare task status reports and submit them to stakeholders on a timely basis.

Documentation / Process Ownership

The incumbent is responsible for complying with ADIB documentation and process standards that are defined in the SDLC.

Information Security

  • Maintain information security related to ADIB, throughout the period of employment.

Report any potential or actual risks or incidents affecting the security of information to the helpdesk.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

  • Proven track record working as FCC Subject Matter Expert and Technical Lead on Oracle, SAS and FIRCO FCC product preferably within the UAE or regional GCC, ideally in a Hosted Managed Service (HMS) set-up.
  • Hands-on experience on CBUAE AML regulations, mandates and best practices for combating Money Laundering, Thematic reviews and system validation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, requirements elicitation techniques, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling tools, requirements management tools, and project documentation software.
