You'll play a key role in delivering a multi-phase innovation programme, helping to identify automation opportunities, improve operational processes and enhance how we serve our clients.
We're looking for someone who enjoys challenging the status quo and bringing fresh thinking to complex problems. As Markets continues to evolve, you'll help us respond to new challenges, find opportunities and continuously improve how we operate.
As a trusted expert, you'll stay ahead of industry trends, translating them into practical strategies that support our business goals. You'll engage with stakeholders across the organisation and beyond, helping to shape new opportunities and drive meaningful change.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing and supporting collateral activity across a range of Markets products and counterparties.
Coordinating collateral processes and activity across Legal, Risk Operations, Finance, Onboarding and wider Markets teams.
Supporting the delivery of client, risk, financial and operational objectives across Collateral Management.
Monitoring, assessing and managing risk within collateral management processes and controls.
Driving improvements in operational efficiency, controls and client service.
Supporting strategic change initiatives, automation projects and process transformation activity.
Building effective relationships across Markets, Treasury and wider business functions to influence and deliver successful outcomes.
Applying market, regulatory and industry insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Contributing to the development of future operating models and innovative ways of working within the Collateral Management function.
What You'll Bring
Essential experience and skills:
Strong experience in Collateral Management within Markets Operations, or a comparable post-trade environment supporting collateralised products, typically gained through 3+ years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of the collateral management lifecycle, including exposures, valuations, margin management and settlement processes.
Technical knowledge of collateralised products and associated operational processes.
Understanding of legal frameworks supporting collateral arrangements, including ISDA and CSA documentation.
Experience operating within a risk and control-focused environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable:
Experience supporting regulatory change initiatives within Markets Operations and understanding industry developments impacting collateral management.
Knowledge of OTC derivatives and collateralised trading products.
Experience identifying and delivering automation or operational improvement opportunities.
Experience contributing to transformation programmes or future-state operating model design.
