ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Senior Analyst, Client Finance plays a critical role in supporting Orchestra’s financial operations across assigned verticals. You’ll be a key partner to Client Finance leadership and vertical teams, providing analytical and operational support across revenue reporting, forecasting and the revenue lifecycle. This is a mid-senior role for someone who is detail-oriented, analytically strong and comfortable operating within complex, multi-system environments.

Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis. The Finance team is in-office at least 3 days per week.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

As a Senior Analyst, Client Finance, you will…

Support the month-end close process across assigned Verticals, including:

Month-End Close & Financial Reporting

  • Support month-end close across assigned verticals, including revenue recognition analysis and preparation of supporting schedules
  • Maintain and update WIP and billable expense trackers; identify and resolve data gaps
  • Partner with A/R to ensure accurate, timely billing supported by proper documentation
  • Support in preparing monthly reporting and variance analysis

Revenue & Deal Management Oversight

  • Monitor daily CRL and GRL deal movement across core systems (Power BI, HubSpot, NetSuite, Quickbase/CLM)
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies across systems
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of deal data throughout the full revenue lifecycle

Financial Operations & Business Support

  • Provide day-to-day financial support to vertical teams
  • Maintain key financial reports ( AR aging, utilization, burn reports, WIP, over-servicing)
  • Monitor labor hours against correct jobs and execute transfers as needed
  • Open and manage projects in NetSuite

Accounts Receivable & Collections

  • Support AR function with Billing Supervisor, driving timely collections through proactive internal and client follow-up

Business Partnership & Leadership

  • Participate in vertical meetings with internal stakeholders
  • Support ad hoc analyses and cross-functional projects as needed
  • Preparing revenue recognition analysis and supporting schedules
  • Updating WIP and billable expense trackers; identifying and resolving data gaps
  • Partnering with the Billing team to provide documentation that supports accurate and timely billing
  • Support the Client Finance lead in preparing reporting, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial insights for leadership

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, revenue operations, or a related financial role
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Comfort working across multiple financial and operational systems
  • Strong time management skills including the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and effectively manage workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders
  • Able to streamline tasks to ensure accuracy and take “ownership-mentality” in work/clients/practices
  • Prepare month-end journal entries for revenue

Preferred skills:

  • Agency or client services experience (advertising, PR, communications, or media)

Salary (commensurate with experience and skills) $70,000-$90,000
