Senior Analyst Business IT - TTC

Objective:

Analyze the organization’s business processes and systems (financial, logistic, human resources, etc.) and automate / optimize processes through the third-party business resource planning system (ERP, e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle). Works on complex, large and more important/impact aspects of the system. Designs more optimal processes because of broader and deeper ERP experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work with our internal customers to analyze business processes to document functional requirements and optimize the use of the Plex SaaS platform.
  • Development of system specifications and decision flows, in the form of flowcharts or equivalent techniques, from written business requirements.
  • Formulate and define the scope and objectives of the system, devising and/or updating procedures to solve complex business problems.
  • Make recommendations and propose system solutions to meet functional requirements.
  • Be a liaison between Plex, business process owners, subject matter experts, and the IT application team to create and finalize test plans / use case scenarios.
  • Run test cycles, document results, and create test approval documentation.
  • Develop, document, or maintain standards, best practices, and procedures for using the system.
  • Consult with end users about incidents within software systems and track those issues using the Help Desk tool software.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and partner training.
  • Provide 24/7 technical support to end users following corporate responsiveness policies and problem escalation management.
  • Develop knowledge base documents for use in training and keep documentation up to date with the Document Control system.
  • Manage changes in reference requirements by effectively participating in change control processes and tools.
  • Strong listening skills, to understand what people are saying and to detect what they might hesitate to say.
  • Analytical skills, to critically evaluate information collected from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into details, abstract from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish requests submitted by users from true underlying needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
  • Drive PKC standards and policies throughout IT, plants, and end-user groups.
  • Lead the implementation and development for Automation and integration processes through API web Services.
  • Support to MES Implementation team and business Automation projects (DEMA).
  • Comply with and ensure compliance with PKC Group's Environment, Health and Safety Policy and Energy Policy.
  • Comply with the environmental, health, safety and energy requirements set forth in Federal, State and Municipal legislation and applicable regulations related to our activities and products to comply with the EMASS (Energy, Environment, Health and Safety) procedures inherent to their work position.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the Energy, Environment, Health and Safety Management System, including the achievement of the EMASS Objectives and Goals.

Required Profile

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business systems, or 8 years’ experience in the field.
  • Plex experience over 5 years with the following modules: quality, tools and maintenance, production Scheduling, manufacturing, MRP and engineering.
  • Provide backup support to maintain Plex system permissions and security.
  • Ability to speak several languages (English, Spanish).
  • Knowledge of EDI standards is an advantage.
  • Experience with MS Office applications.
  • Experience in Intelliplex as advantage.
  • RPA experience as a plus.
  • Experience in SQL a plus.

  • Other IT software support as necessary
  • Able to travel and assist the plant where the company needs it within Mexico
  • Travel is expected for up to 50% of the time.
